  • Board Certified Rheumatologist

    Dr. Karamlou is a distinguished medical professional, having pursued her medical education at George Washington University Medical School. Following her education, she completed her internship and residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, where she gained extensive experience in the field of rheumatology. Her commitment to excellence led her to further specialize through a fellowship at the esteemed UCLA School of Medicine. Since 2003, Dr. Karamlou has been serving the Orange County community with her wealth of experience and expertise in the medical field, making her a respected and trusted figure in the region's healthcare landscape.


  • Adult Nurse Practitioner

    Diane Schwarz has been a certified Nurse Practitioner since 1997, bringing over two decades of invaluable experience in the healthcare field. Her career has spanned various medical specialties, including Nephrology, Internal Medicine, Family Practice, and Osteoporosis Research. This diverse background showcases her extensive knowledge and skills in providing comprehensive care across a range of medical disciplines. She has worked in our Rheumatology practice since 2017 and collaborates with Dr. Karamlou to provide excellent care to our patients.

About 4+ years ago, when I was supposed to go on a cruise to South America, I found out I had a rare disease called Vasculitis (ANCA). That meant canceling my cruise and seeing a special doctor.   • Please don’t get discourage if you are a new patient. It may take a while to get a appointment. But, Dr. Karamlou is well worth the wait. Dr. Karamlou is extremely personable. Dr. Karamlou is an expert in her field. She listens and answers all of your questions, in a way you can easily understand. In my 77 years and different Rheumatologist, she is a TRUE GEM. I am extremely fortunate that she is my doctor. The office staff, Michelle and Amanda are warm, friendly and are very helpful. I am able to have my treatments at Dr. Karamlou’s office and Amy, her RN is painless. Dr. K’s office is a pleasure!
